...Watched the trailer during Xmen2, and needless to say, it's a movie to see, if only for the special effects and high-wire acts alone...

Heh, I'll be able to catch it in 3 days time. And roth, I'm not always around. Happens to be a public holiday in 5 mins time for me. It's 14th may 11.55pm as I post this. Don't turn this place into banal talk. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif

Hi,

I have a free ticket to see it Fri morning...

At the Casino Theatres.

I'm expecting a great storyline, great dialogue, and some tight acting...

(Does this movie have special effects ?)

Abe.

The only review I've heard (from my nephew who works at one of the local theaters and who attended a mandatory "pre"-view required of each set of reels to make sure of no glitches or broken film, etc.) is, "a lot more action than the first one".

Mister Anderson--/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

First CPF member to see it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif I just got home half and hour ago from the first showing here in the 'Burgh.

This movie rocks! Great special effects once again. Agent Smith is so friggin great and his big fight scene with Neo has some of the best fighting moves I have ever seen...may favorite part of the movie /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The highway scene is my next favorite. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif I think I'll trade my Suzuki for a Ducatti now! And my Passat for a Caddy that Ziggs!

I'm so buzzed right now!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

An astute observation from a local newspaper reporter:

Trilogy movies can be thought of as "mind, muscle, soul". First movie is the characterization and plot, second movie is the action based bridge between the first and third, and the third is the emotional and philosophical wrap-up.

A second astute observation by the same reporter:

Zion is a multi-cultural place where people of all races work together to defeat a common enemy.

The common enemy - the agents, the Twins, and even the traitor "Cypher" is represented by the Wac. Bros. entirely by white males...

Well, (in an un-PC like fashion), in a film where a black man is the leader of a world, a white guy is a martial arts expert, computers know how to harness "clean" energy, and people in cloaks and leather can fly without ripping something, I'd expect the whole "black and white" to be "white and black" and grey inbetween...

Movies have usually always portrayed white as good and black as bad. Now that it's the other way around, it gets your attention, whether good or bad...
