Fun with kydex

Here's the second attempt at making a holster out of kydex:

To be honest it doesn't work very well... I haven't been able to adjust the retention of it, once it's in, it's stuck and a ridiculously large amount of force is then required to remove the light from the holster.

Interesting holster. Did you model it on another kydex holster, or is it 100% original?

While the light looks very accessible, it looks like it would get in the way of everything. I had the same problem when carrying my Minimag horizontally. Just sitting in a chair was painful.

It was from an idea that an old member (some of you will know who I'm talking about) had which was to have an E2/E2e holstered bezel first and angled 45 degrees downwards for a "natural" draw.

While it's probably not 100% original, I've never seen anything similar to it. Most of the other ones hold on to the body.
 
Top
