Here's a TrustFire TR-801 modded with Cree 7090XL UV LED and a new driver. I modded it for a while but found I didn't use it too much. It's still like new.

It's not like the pictures at the above URL. It looks like an ordinary XR-E. :thinking:
I put a GITD o-ring at lens and between the head/body. I also replace the driver with a LTC3454 based constant current buck/boost driver. It could only take one 18650 Li-ion. Don't put two 16340/RCR123 or two CR123A, the driver will be damaged.
The driver has low-voltage warning at 3.0v and will change to low level slow strobe. It has 3 groups as follow: (I set it at group 1)
1. 50mA-200mA-700mA
2. very dim (10mA?)-300mA-500mA-800mA
3. very dim-and lots strobe modes you may not want to use.
(No mode memory, it'll start at first mode in the group every time when power on)
It's a UV light and harmful to eyes. Be well protected when you use it!
I'm asking WITHDRAWN shipped worldwide via registered airmail. It usually takes 2~3 weeks to most destinations. I couldn't be responsible for item lost or damage in transit if not insured. Insurance is extra, just let me know if you want it.
