SL PP 4AA Lux - anyone mod the LED ?

I have a Streamlight PP 4AA Lux that I've loved over the years...

Recently, had a problem with the tailswitch, and now actually have an extra LED module and front bezel - but no handle/tail - it's "gone" -

SO.... I was wondering if anyone has actually swapped out the Lux for something else ? Just curious since I now have an extra LED head assembly...

OR - I need to find an extra handle

if you search around, there's a tutorial on how to do it, as I recall, it was quite a process because of the design/glue of the module.

I did the SSC P4 mod and it is my favorite light for walking the dog at night. It's worth the effort.
