I have a USED KX1 head with 2 Madmax Plus drivers (~1100 ma) and a Q5 WC emitter. It runs on 2 Elite 1500 batteries, with a runtime of ~35 minutes. I will include 6 Elite 1500 batteries with this unit, and the 1/4 inch spacer. This has been my personal light for about 10 months.

1st class USPS shipping to North America $4.

Please post here if you want it and I'll send you a P.M. with my PayPal address.

A spacer is included to provide proper contact for the AA nimh battery. You will need to create a sleeve from cardstock to line the body and provide centering for the battery.

These are Nimh cells and can be charged on any Nimh charger. You will need a spacer to compensate for the shorter cells.

Either with this Pila charger which is a great charger

or this cheaper but nearly as good of Ultrafire

You'll also need two spacers, one for each battery:D

Dan

I woulden't use either dude...they are 2/3rd A Nimh cells above ( 1.2V ) so no Li-ion charger will work.

My Bad... you're correct. Didn't see the Nimh part. I assumed it was a lithium. That's what I get for surfing the boards after being up for 24 hrs in the ER at work...:sick2::duh2::ohgeez:

Bump. This is a great light for someone who doesn't want to use lithium batteries ...

Will the standard P6 body work with these batteries/head?

edit: Oops, E series only I think

I'm enjoying my KX1 SOB 1000 BigBoy mod. Bob does good work.

This one will also work on a single cell (E1) body with one CR123. It may run at less than 1100mA, but will still run well.

bump for a good modder & a good light.
