I am sure this is an easy question for someone. I am new to the forum and don't understand the difference is between a forward and reverse clicky switch. Can someone explain it to me? Thank you.

A forward clickie will turn on with a half press and will work as a momentary switch when half depressed, it will turn on from the moment you start the down stroke on the switch.
A reverse clickie needs to got through the full push down and won't turn on until it it clicks and locks on the up stroke of the switch.
