I've searched, and plenty of ya'll took apart Black & Decker VPX batteries (http://www.VpxSystem.com) when they were cheap.
The VPX batteries are 7-7.4V high-drain (123A brand) 1.1AH batteries.
I've got 2 of the flashlights (along with many VPX power tools.) I am considering nodding these anemic little lights to something reasonably resembling a (flood) work-light.
