First of all I'd like to say: Hello!! and that this is a cool and helpful forum :D. My question is this: Can or can't you attach the p7 led to the heatsink with thermal paste? On some threads they say that this is the best way, on other they say that you must use arctic glue (or something like that) because the base of the emitter is negative or some say that the best way is to use thermal paste in a thin layer and after that to use the glue. I am lost :(....so....what's the best way??

The slug of the P7 is not electrically isolated. If it touches the metal of the heatsink, then bad things happen (generally). The preferred way to attach it seems to be with a very thin layer of AA, let that dry to isolate the base, then use another thin layer of AA and attach the LED on the heatsink.
