I've been reading a lot about Aspheric flashlight on this forum & finally decided to sign up & build one my self.

I was looking for a perfect host for the surplus shed 55mm x38.5 FL
Aspheric lens & it would run on 4AAs. I found this light from Dx,
same 4xAA as the famous DEFT, but smaller head (65mm, Slightly bigger than Mag head).

I fit a Dx Pill with 2x Dx 800MA Driver in Parallel in there:

Next, I made a lens housing with Carbon Fiber Tube to be able to move the lens up & Down in side the head.

I pushed the lens housing all the way down, I was able to keep the whole thing back into the flashlight without lens being sticking out.

This is probably out of focus & I may have to remove the front lense &
push the Aspheric lens out of the flashlight a bit.

Unfortunately, DX is keeping me waiting on the R2 emitter, so I can test & finish the project quite yet.

Come on, Dx.

For some reason, the image doesn't show up.
Why is my 'Html code off". Trying again:

Just to explain. The lens still has protection paper on,
I am going to leave it on until the project is done, so it won't get scratched.
