Question regarding shrouded E series tailcaps

No. SureFire only ever proto-typed this type of TailCap for the E-Series.
The only one I've seen was in -GM (-SG).
It was essentially a scaled down version of their Z21 for standard body models such as the 6P.

The E2D, just like the E2DL has only been offered with it's crenelated Clickie TailCap.
The Z68 shrouded Clickie TailCap, and the Z61 Clickie TailCap can also be used.

There is no Z-number for the SureFire standard momentary push button pressure switch LockOut TailCap (Z52 in natural HA, Z54 in type II Black) although some were made for E2e-BK and E1e-BK models.

Yep - the TailCap in your photo next to that A2-BK is a Black HA SureFire standard momentary push button pressure switch LockOut TailCap.
