Up for sale is a knurled brass Luce de Notte from Fred's (PhotonFanatic's) last run. Fred was very kind, as he offered to build the Luce for me, even though I missed the run. The Luce has an 11mm ice-blue trit.

The Luce has sat on my bedside table since I received it and has never left my house. The brass is developing a bit of a patina but I'm sure it can be easily polished back to new if the owner desires.

I am asking *SOLD*US$160*SOLD shipped worldwide via airmail. Please PM for Paypal details.

It's not a light.

It's a knurled tube with a tritium sphere in it and a bit of a reflector.

Pretty, always glowing, unique. Good to light your nightstand. Have heard you can make it to the latrine by it's light with dark adapted eyes.

I'd like a dome topped green 18mm one some day.

Thanks for the educative reply. Sounds like a great gift to give to your loved one so she can always remember you at night. Or, you can use it to take a pee...nice.

Joking aside, how small is it? How long could one expect the trit to last?

Its diameter is approximately 23mm and it is about 45mm long. Imagine it about half the size of a HDS EDC/Novatac if you've handled one of those. I think the trit has a half-life of about 12 years, so it should theoretically be half as bright in about 12 years time.
