:thinking:I see surefire is supposed to come out with an aluminum version of the titan. After all the problems with the titanium version I wonder if this one will work? At $239 dollars I think this really is a outrageous price considering that this is aluminum. I wonder if it is even a regulated light? I paid $110 for a E1B, you really have to ask your self why this light is so expensive? I sure can't seem to figure out why this light would have such a high price. I figured this light would cost maybe 70 dollars at the most. This is a production light and not hand done, so how do you think surefire can justify this ridiculous price?

They have a cult following and things cost more than double to make in the US now. If these were made in China they would be 80-100 bucks tops. And it would probably actually cost them 10 to make it.
Surefire makes great stuff but if you want American you gotta pay for it. I try to when I can afford to I buy American
