Experimental 200W Hand-Held Self-Contained HID Spot-Light

PX-200 The most powerful self contained HID spot light in the world with 1 hour runtime (battery dependent).

Completed mod - Like this one in the original thread with beamshots
HERE with D-Luxe HeatSink+Fan Ballast Case




Standard Kit will be Fully Assembled 200W Ballast (in Choice of CaseA-HSF or CaseB-SF both with fan.switch.fuse etc.)
+ Ignitor
+ Mirror.Lamp-Holder.Focusing-Assembly
+ Wiring Loom with Breaker Switch

+ Choice of connections
. Lamp-Ballast (Industry Standard Plug or Fixed Cable)
. DC-Ballast (Industry Standard Plug or Fixed Cable)

I am currently building the simpler Basic Fan-Case that should also be an option choice.

Modder just add HOST, LAMP, and BATTERY
All fixings provided.
Dremel or similar required (or be very good with a Swiss army knife !)
Drill required for cable entry holes and Breaker-Switch.


Full HOST modding details, descriptions with photos, and specifications for LAMP and BATTERY provided.

Host modification is very straightforward and bulbs and batteries are readily available from the usual sources.

Do Not touch Glass or bezel fittings - VERY HOT !
Additional forced cooling (Lamp area) may be required for extended runs in higher ambient temp. zones) 30min @20C tested OK
