Help me decide DBS or Jetbeam

I am looking for a thrower light with usable flood and as much lumen (distance) as possible.

My choices right now are DBS or Jetbeam? Should I consider any other?

I already have Tk10 and Tk20.

First off, :welcome:

Second off, There are many Jetbeam models

Third off, FOR THE LOVE OF SOMEONE USE SEARCH or read something, or look around! There are dozens of threads, reviews, discussions.

I think a Thread Ban should be implied for anyone with less than 10 or 20 posts.

Lumens have nothing to do with the distance. Lumen is overall brightness. to throw it far away you needto focus it for throw.

Not sure which JetBeam you are looking at but the DBS is famous for its throw. Not sure if there is a JetBeam that can match it - maybe their newest model - the M1X.

Thats more of a floody throw light, like the DBS with a MCE, which is kind of like what the OP is looking for I think.

Check out a DBS with a MCE emitter.

How about a DBS with an MCE and R2 pills bot both spill and throw?

Some people think the reflector is too big to EDC this light though.
