Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year)

For those who do not know, it is the Chinese New Year celebrations beginning on Monday, 26th January 2009. In the Lunar Horoscope, 2009 is the year of the Ox.

No doubt many CPF-ers may not celebrate this occasion, but i would still like to wish all CPF-ers a Happy and Prosperous Lunar New Year with wishes of health and wealth for 2009 especially in times of economic turmoil such as these.

I will try to take some pictures of celebrations and post them up.

Seeing as 2007 was the year of the PIG and 2008 was the year of the RAT, hopefully things will get better now.

All Chinese people, are enjoying the new year eve here. It's a pity that there aren't enough flashlights to light the darkness.

Curse you! I'm on the other side of that coin, giving away our hard-earned money to nieces, nephews, and friend's kids. Being married has its advantages, though
