New Makita 12V Lithium LED flashlight

Makita has a new 12 volt light (actually 10.8 - with three cells) that uses the lithium rechargable pack with its new compact series drills/drivers. Looks pretty cool too with long runtime. You can see it on their web site.

Thanks for the tip! I love their 18V LXT series tools but there are a number of LED drivers that don't work with the 18V whereas 12V will be cool!!

Bump anyone, I just got one as a christmas present along with the 10.8v drill bundle, i have managed to pop the lens assembly off and got into the driver and emitter, not sure what type of emiiter is used but it puts out a very blue beam, the reflector collects a large spot of it and misses the rest making for an odd beam.

Mods, is it ok to start my own thread on modding this flashlight, hoping if I name the title a bit better I can get more responses
