Yup yalskey, here's the first one.

Best all depends on you use, what you want the light to do and so on. Define what is best for you.

Best for me, brightness and flood. More important than throw. However when I siad best, maybe I should have said favorite. I want quality to be an important factor. I have a couple of p7 lights, but their quality is not above par.

If you want flood try an Elektrolumens EDC-MCE. Unfortunately he has only built 1 with no plans to go into production at this time.

You can buy a Elektrolumens MCE Drop-in II for a 3D M@glite. The stock unit only works in a 3D M@glite but Elektrolumens will custom wire the drop in for a 6D M@glite.

The thread on it over at CPFMP is here:

Dereelight has the CL1H V4 MC-E:

Malkoff has a P7 drop in.
Wolf-Eyes has a number of P7 lights.
I am not familiar with them. please do your own search.

The M@g P7 mods and the Fenix TK40 seem to be very throwy so I'd stay away if you need flood.

My ElektroLumen EDC-MCE is brighter than my ROP. No kidding. All flood.

You got the one and only?
Lucky you!

You don't know the half of it LEDninja.

I was at my keyboard, on my birthday a few weeks ago, when Elektro mentions he just created the MCE version of the EDC and I told him I wanted. There was another in front of me but he did not have a P7 on order so I got it.

I just charged both the EDC-MCE and the ROP for a white wall show down. The ROP lost, although it has a brighter hotspot, it hurts to look at it. The EDC-MCE is like daylight.

I do feel lucky.

Whoah! I've never seen a reflector like that before.

Any outside (or in) beamshots?

Some of the higher quality Seoul P7 or Cree MC-E lights are made by Dereelight, Wolfeye, Jetbeam, Tiablo, and Lumapower.
