Well I am hot, tired and sweaty, fresh out of a rock concert in my small hometown:drunk:

I never ment, to but things just happened…The bands + the reinforcements are people I know and the sound engineer I had worked with….so the 32 song setlist begins, and somewhere down the line my buddy says "oh I forgot a light effect"

A concert grade halogen strobe in a small bar the size of 2 living rooms….it is wired to a standalone flip switch but he has to move to work it…so he assigns me the task!

Can you RESIST this?

Well it turns out that it is too big for the venue….I pitty the poor fella that was getting the pure beam on his face….

Enters the L0D-CE in the strobe mode…. while the band was playing billy idol's "Rebel Yell" the backup singer is "demonized" and I am flashing with the fenix...

Next came Aerosmith's "Dream On" and I was roaming the crowd with the fenix in Low, which is still strong for the occassion.

But there can be no mercy....In Police's "message in a bottle" out comes my Palmblaze, and I keep hitting the venue working the forward switch following the drummers beats....

Then comes the big one:

Paint it black!

and Immigrand Song…
and Doctor Doctor…

with full force strobe on the demand on the band

and I forget the encore song were I am backlighting the singers with the plamblaze,
and sweeping the crowd, and finishing on the drumset where this friend of mine is banging………

Right now 2 hours after midnight I am beat, and eating sweets to cope with the walk home and the good thing is that there is gonna be one more gig Wednesday:twothumbs…And I am gonna be prepared this time!:D

night folks....

I used to go to a nightclub that had a small room upstairs dedictated to rave music. A friend of the DJ used to walk round with a strobing camera flash every so often, and that was quite effective. I can't tell if people are joking here or seriously doubt the OP, but in a small venue a flashlight strobe would have some effect, and as a friend of the sound engineer who'd already been asked to help, I don't see why he'd be escorted out.

I once took my young daughter to a show (McFly ) when she asked me to borrow my Surefire. She then proceded to shine it in one of the singers faces and we were right near the front. You should of seen his face!

Straight away security came over and demanded "hand that torch over"
I took the torch off my daughter and said "you got NO chance of me handing this over mate" and put it in my pocket.

AS IF!!!!

The matter was left there.

Haha! Yes, I can see how that might attract some attention from security.
