LD10 and 14500 battery

Hi

I know that when using a 3.6V 14500 battery with a LD10 all the modes does not work because of the driver. But under which voltage does a LD10 work again (all modes) when using a 14500 battery ?

IIRC, as soon as the cell voltage drops below the Vf of the LED, which can range from ~3.2v-3.7v

Yup, rechargeable NiMH generation II is the way to go. Kjell & Company ( www.kjell.com ) has a good selection of both batteries and chargers.

A eneloop AA battery will give me 1 hour of runtime on turbo.
Nice little light. You can screw this head onto a L2D body and cap with 2xAA's,the output is MUCH brighter with the same runtime.
