The M20 is really my favorite (and only) carry light so far. But I'm noticing a problem with the clip. It lost its 'spring'!

Here are my two M20's:
The top: I wore clipped in my jacket pocket for a few days with little action.
The bottom: I haven't carried.

Both were identical before carrying.

I am a bit disappointed about it; I feel like I'm gonna lose the thing...

In the event that I simply need to replace the clip, can anyone tell me if the T20 clip is compatible with M20?
That is the only clip I can seem to find from 4Sevens or Battery Junction.
But then there's always the chance it will just bend again.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Yea I've noticed it a little bit. I usually clip mine in the jeans pocket so it doesn't need to be stretched out too much to clip.

Where did you buy it from? Maybe you can contact the dealer?

Unfortunately, I bought these from CPFMP. So no dealer support.
Maybe MattK or 4Sevens can still tell me if the T20 clips are compatible?

What likelihood is there that newer clips are improved?

Yes. To be specific: "Olight M20 Warrior PREMIUM Tactical LED Flashlight w. Cree R2".

With strike bezel.... :twak:

NeSSuS-GTE,

I also own an Olight M20 Warrior.

If you drop me a PM with you house addy, I will give you the clip I removed from my light. (Don't need it, don't use it, and I don't mind donating it to a brother flash-a-holic who will appreciate it).

Let me know, and I'll dig it out and send it to you.

In Christ: Raymond

PS: I'm located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Charles,

I received your message.

But first, one little thing...could you verify that this is the clip you need.

I have a few lights, and I have removed the clips from all of them. And I'd hate to accidently send you the wrong one.

If it "is" the clip, just let me know...and it's on it's way.

Glad I could be of help!

I never use the clips, the state your's in is one of the reasons.

The clip on the Warrior is, like most clips, too tiny for that big flashlight. You probably don't need to apply much force to the head to bend the clip and if it isn't made out of the toughest and most flexibel steel arounf, it'll stay like yours.

Many people were shocked, when they saw the "ugly" clip of the Ra Clicky. That clip is perhaps oversized, I don't know, but it'll need an abnormal huge force to bend it in normal conditions and the flashlight will stay yours a longer time.

Don't rely on the clip only! Two thumbs up for RaymondMillbrae!:thumbsup:

Though I never use mine, I wouldn't give it away. If you remove it, the cigar-ring won't hold as it should anymore, I tried. So, I preffer to leave the clip on.

Henk,

try tightening-up the tailcap first.

After the tailcap is sufficiently tightened, screw (or unscrew) the tactical ring (cigar ring) tight against the tailcap.

No problemo!

Another note: Make sure the rounded and beveled part of the tactical ring is towards the front of the light. This way it will not cut you when you are holding the light in a cigar grip...or in my case, in a modified cigar grip.

Hi Raymond,

My wife dropped my M20 & the anti-roll cigar clip that holds down the belt clip is scratched up. Are you willing to sell yours?

Thanks!

Ha ha ha!

Droeun, that was pretty funny.

Uhhhhhhhhhh...nope. I need my tactical ring.

The clip was an extra part that was laying around, UNused. But the tactical ring is a part of my current light set-up.

Ask around. I'm sure someone who is not using theirs will part with it.

Best wishes.

I don't think the clips are compatable. If it were me I would carefully take it apart then put it together. You might find the problem. batteryjunction.com rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
