Streamlight Twin Task Light\'s& TL-2& NF-2!?

I called Streamlight and they said that the Twin-Task lights are mailing out now! yay, can't wait to get my 3c!

What is everyone's thoughts on interchangeability for the led and xenon assemblies for the TL-2&NF-2? Im sure we'll just have to wait and see, but hopefully it would be possible. Cause Im wanting the NF-2(OD green) and thought how nice it would be to have an led assembly from the led version TL-2 for backup.

Oh me. Everyone I showed the specs to wanted one; I ordered 2 3C's, 2 3AA's, 2 1 L's, one 2 L's, and one 3AA Luxon.

what color TL-3 did you get?
if you like, i can show you a picture of what the OD green looks like(on the NF-2, very cool looking). i found a picture on another website.

I wanted the green but I ordered black because I was afraid of not being happy with the finish. I am going to change my preorder back to green now.

Switching? I am wondering how the switching between LED and Xenon works on these lights. Is it a multi-click switch or is there a way to cycle through one mode and not the other? Anyone know?

I would expect them to be the same as the Nuwai - 1 click LEDs, 2 clicks incandescent, 3 clicks off. This is an educated guess. Since no one has them in their hands yet, you'll have to wait for confirmation. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

im pretty sure you have to cycle through the modes.

all i know is im not paying an extra $80+ just to have the pressure-sensitive switch for the "other" brand
