My CPF ML drains batteries and I assume its because its an electronic switch that passes small amounts of current constantly. This anoys me as I can't stick it in the glove box and count on it working 3 months later and 123s are expensive. Would putting a clickie tailcap on solve the problem and what would I use. Has anyone done this before or what would be your reccomendations. Thanks, for your help. George

You can lock it out by unscrewing the tail cap a little. There's enough slop in the thread that you can even use the slightly unscrewed tail cap for momentary activation.
