Got mine today, Priority Mail. This one is even better than I thought it would be. It will definitely be in the EDC rotation. This baby and the LS20 are all you need (unless you need more ).
I like the extra level and the extra length is nice for us MAN-sized hand guys.
Here it is with a couple of friends for size comparison.

Getting ready to go for a ride. Fits nicely in the Ra clicky's AKJ holster.

Just hanging with some new friends (and showing off )

Once again, Don has hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer. Perfect size, 3 levels and titanium. Does it get any better? I don't think so.
    Thanks Don.

    Omigod Haiku!
    Delivered to me today!
    Oh, sweet Valentine!

    It is the nicest
And the brightest light I own
    From what I can tell.

    Deep ribs of the head
Make it not only look cool
    But give a good grip!

    What an impressive
    Artwork in titanium!
    And it is all mine!

    Pleased is what I am
With what I have seen so far
    With this McGizmo!

    Thank you, thank you, Don
    For this amazing new light!
    SunDrop's new best friend!

The mailcarrier just dropped off my Haiku and I really like it. In fact I believe I prefer it over my other two PD's and the sundrop. It is a great size and it's definately got Character!

Thanks Don for the great work and fast shipping! And as for any marks, scars, or blemishes I can't find a single defect, plus the threads on mine are silky smooth!

    The sweater looks sharp.
What size O-rings did you use? If glow rings are available in that size it would make up for the lack of tritium.

    What a cool idea!
We can dress up the new light
    For the occasion!

    Black could be formal.
    Glow rings could be tactical.
    Nude for casual.

    I too want to know
The size "sweater" these lights take!
    Please share the info!

Best Valentine's gift I've gotten in a while! I agree about the new boot being a big improvement. I had replaced the stock boot in my Ti-XR19-C and Ti-S27-Cx2 with boots designed for the Lumapower M1, but I won't need to with the Haiku. I just now realized that the Sundrop must also have the new boot...sometimes, I'm slow.

I just opened the box a few minutes ago, but my Ti-PD-S is already crying about losing it's spot in my pocket.

I think I now have the perfect trifecta of pocket lights for me - Sundrop-3S, Haiku, and Ti-S27-Cx2. Well, that is until we have some high CRI LED's that are higher output than the 083 and a good fit for a reflector.

    As always, thank you Don!

What I really love about McGizmo lights (other than the obvious: beauty and utility) is that they all have a purpose and all are designed with thoughtfulness and meaning. The Haiku's style hearkens back to the original McLux TK, with its finned head and clicky switch. And the 3 levels of blazing white in a glittering titanium body are just what we flashaholics crave. Another truly superb addition from the king of customs.

This is one sexy light indeed.
And the beam coming out of the McR-17XR is the best beam I ever had in a reflectored light. Period.
There is a type of perfection that transcends the quest for lumens. Buying a $250 1-cell light for "lum factor" is like buying a $250 single malt Scotch for the alcohol content.

... typical out the front flux (lumens) of 4, 30 & 135 respectively.
    Don,

In my shop built IS, the Haiku (with fresh Surefire CR123) shows 7, 47, & 179 lumens. My sphere often reads lower than most manufacturer's claimed flux levels, but most of those are reading bulb lumens, not out the front lumens.

Nice job. A real pocket rocket

I know you can't run it off of 2 cells, I have a 17670 in there.
