How does the brightness of the Photon III Yellow compare to the brightness of the Arc AAA or Infinity Ultra? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

So it is much dimmer than the Photon III white?

IMO-it's about 30% dimmer, but as others here have observed, it gives (for it's power) superior resolution and contrast in the darkness.

If you get one, do an experiment:
In real darkness-shine the light on a box that has printing on it-from about 10-12', and compare your ability to read that printing on the box against a white LED light, like the Arc AAA, or P-III for instance...

With the yellow, you also have the advantage of a very loong run time-with it's single #2032 battery.

Don't forget several brightness levels on that yellow Photon yellow. I leave my red and white III's at lowest setting incase they get turned on accidentally. Won't drain out that fast.
