Got another E2e today

got my first E2e today. i also have 2 E2 HA III.

my new E2e has the new "waved-porcubine" head (serial no is A01754).

differences that i noticed between E2 and brand new E2e:

* the E2e has another reflector design, the surface is more shiny and the orange peel structure is more distinct.

* i like the hex-bezel.with the E2 i had always look twice when i put it on the table if it is rolling or not. with the hex-bezel you now it will stay at it is.

* the surface of the body under the clip is flat and has no knurling there. that very good because when i clip it into my front pocket, there is no more damage.

* on my E2e when i activate the loc-out-feature of the tailcap there is around 3-4 mm space between the tailcap and the body.

* the head on the E2e sits very tight on the body. on my E2 you can see the o-ring, there is ca. 1 mm space between the head and the body.

* the E2e is a bit longer and its Head is a bit bigger

i must say my "old" unused E2's look ugly in comparison to the E2e /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It sounds like in general the Elite is an improvement on the old version... [strange!]

features wise, the E2e is better but i still prefer the classic look of the old E2, same way i prefer the look of the older 6Ps with the round bezel and body /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That one sneaked onto the shelf and had to be edited out. I have five SureFires that aren't on the shelf. One is a WeaponLight.

BTW, I still carry the A2 in one of my pockets.

No, I'm saying I have five SureFires including a WeaponLight that aren't on the shelf.
