Is there anything new in battery-free flashlights?

I have a couple different generations of the Nightstar, and a couple copies like shakelights, but none of these put out much light.

Cranklights don't seem like they'd last very long, with the exception of Freeplays, which are bulky. They seem to run on NiMH batteries, which have a limited life, I guess.

Thanks,

Interesting flashlight. I appreciate the quick responses.

I was looking for something that did not need 110vac or 12vdc, but could operate from human power, like a shakelight.
