SF C2 for Dereelight Drop in?

Thinking of getting a C2 as a host for my spare Dereelight pills and reflectors. I love the look of the C2 but do not own one, do i need to fit an outer spring to the pill? As my pills are for the CL1H V4 they don't have the twin spring, is it for heat transfer or current draw? Sorry for such a basic question but i ready to drop the pay pal on the C2 as soon as i know.

Your dreelight's should fit right into the C2 with no problems! ive got a 3sd q5 running in my 6p no problem! The outer spring is not needed. not exactly sure why some dropins have them...maybe its for the non-aluminum lights like the G2
