This is a new style maglite D switch that has been modded:
the 2 switch wires have been wraped around the inside so that if you tug on, or wiggle the wires, they wont break at the solder joints.

This is a new style maglite D switch that has been modded:
- tower part that holds oem bulb has been cut down
- the bottom has been shaved to work with flat top cells
- 4 wires (24g teflon)= two for each end of switch, one for bat pos, and one for neg. Wires are also labeled.
- also shaved off some of the actual button so its not so easy to turn on
