Innova T4 help needed

Can anyone help me open up the Innova T4?
I would love to experiment with XR E and MC E but am not getting anywhere being unable to open it.

Inova T Series lights are infamously difficult to open; they aren't popular for modding. I think a couple of guys may have used the boil method to pop the seal, but you'd have to search on that.

More importantly, what are you hoping to accomplish with your mod, if I might ask? I have a T4, and the reflector is extremely well mated with the stock led for a very smooth, floodier beam. Don't know about a XRE, but an MCE might be interesting though.

Yes Phaserburn, came across someone boiling a T1 in a plastic bag to open it.
Thought I could increase the output as the stock is about 116 lumens.
Anyway, its better to let it be the way it was meant to be.
