I just got an email from Bryan over at shiningbeam letting me know that they will be receiving 18650 powered mc-e lights in about two weeks. This is great news.

Amen, I think it will be great to have an option between DX and lights that are upwards of 150.

Its kinda funny a day before bryan told me this I ordered an MTE MC-E from DX, and the second he told me this I emailed dx and told them to cancel it. They were actual very nice about it. Now i just have to wait the two very long weeks until shihingbeam gets their stock.
