I like the functionality of my U2, but for pocket carry, I just can't get comfortable with it. I was thinking I'd like to make it an alternative backup light on my duty belt but and I'd have more holster options without the clip. Has anyone removed the clip from their U2? Looking at it I see a plastic collar but I didn't want to start prying on an expensive light.

Remove the tailcap and push the plastic cap off with your fingers, you can then remove the clip very easy.
