It's been a couple of years since I've had my original P3D. In comparing with my other lights, the P3D is definitely showing it's age, in terms of lumens. Are there any drop ins I can get to make this light brighter? Ie. something like a warmer tint and floody kind of light. I'm also gonna get the positive clicky switch.

Changing the switch is easy. However, there are no dropins. You can bring it up to date by swapping the LED for a brighter and/or warmer tint one. This requires basic soldering skills.

Thanks Marduke. I guess I can toy around and see how hard it is to solder a different light on there.

You mean solder a different LED right?

The current highest bin Cree XR-E you cen get right now is the R2 bin. The neutral white LEDs are also out if you want a warmer tint. There should be one or two threads about modding the L1D, L2D, P2D, or P3D. They should help.
