I have 2 KX2C's. One of them has a yellow/green diode with silver all around it. The other has the same looking diode, but with green all around it (what it is mounted to)
The one with green all around it seems brighter, but is about 1K cooler or so. One of my friends told me it seemed brighter, she knows nothing about flashlights. It was tested out in the boondocks at 100+ yards. She picked that one EVERY time I asked (switching them around, ect.) and at 100y, the tint difference was invisible.
Anyone have any idea what LED's these are? They both have 4 wires coming off of them, the one mounted on the white/selver background has copper looking wires while the one on the green has green looking wires, not sure if this is due to green background reflection or not.
