Photon Freedom Micro Question

I have a Photon Freedom Micro which needed a battery change. Simple right? Not so much for me. I cannot for the life of me get the back of this thing back on the light. I have tried pliers, applied with an ample amount of cussing and no luck. Is there a secret or do I just have a dud?

Thanks for your help.

Small flat head screwdriver works pretty well. Just pop it under the tab near the keyring hole and wiggle until it comes apart (that's what she said....)

Edit:
I thought you meant removing the back. As for as reinstalling the back, did you make sure the tab is correctly aligned? Snap the side closed to the LED in first.

Maybe the batteries are not down in there quite enough. I've got an old Photon 3 that was a bit difficult to get it snapped down. Seems like I needed to re-seat the batts before it worked. I assume you made sure the little tab was positioned right.

Yeah, I have the tab lined up, I just cannot get the back to seat properly. I'll go back and look at the batteries to make sure they are down in there.
Thanks guys.
