From the manufacturer:

---Fenix,roots from phoenix[fi:niks], Chinese translation is "phoenix, perfect thing". And phoenix stands for lucky, blessedness and perfection in traditional Chinese culture.

Been through this... pronounce it like Phoenix.
Oh, how would you know? You're in Ohio. Last time I was in Ohio, it was:
"Ewin, say dug."
"Dug."
"No, like a dug that you pit."
"Like I dug a pit? Oooh, you mean a dawwwgggg."
"heeheeheeheeheehee, no Ewin, it has three litters...not three sylibbles!

Yue peeple caint tawlk up thur.
And dang it, my name is Owen:mad:

:p

I pronounce it "Phoenix", too, though!

In China, the Dragon represents the emperor, while the Phoenix represents the emperor's wife (emperess??).

If you think flashlight brand's pronunciation is hard, how about watches?

For example: Audemars Piguet = Aw-dee-MAR PEE-gay
