HID WA 1000lm Mag? help needed!!!!

I have got a Mac mini 4 cell (cr123) 500lm mag and the new WA 1000lm bulb and ballast? What do I do?

Do I mod the Mac or leave as it is or mod a new mag 2-3? cell and make a hid runtime monster? If I do this I will need to get the body lathed out (no real biggie) but what cells do I run?
i saw some unprotected c cells on kaidomain but what I don't want is 18650's ratteling around in a d cell body, c in a d I could justify!

What I want is a 1000lm mag hid that is smallish but with a big runtime?

Ideas………………..

For batteries I would say get a 2D bi-bored and run 4x 18650 cells in it. Other than 2D cells, that is the most capacity I think you will get. If I were you I would stay away from the KD lithium ions. IMO they are subpar compared to what is out there. I would get AW cells myself. Good luck.

That sounds good, if it was bi bored could I still leave the mag switch in place and would the batteries fit lengthwise without an adaptor?

Would the 4 cells fit lose of in a carrier?
