Good luck with your sale!

I am interested in the extension if you decide to part it out, Let me know.

How did you manage to unscrew the extension from the switch module?

Thanks!

I did hold the switch module in one hand and used the other hand to unscrew the extension. (very easy) :)

If someone else do have problems with taking it off ---maybe this one is special . I dont know

Thanks!

I just tried it on my FM11 with 2 strap wrenches and it came loose, apparently it had some sort of tread locker on it.

If you ever decide to sell the FM85 body as a separate item let me know.

No thread locker, just old and not-well-lubricated threads.

I have the same set Zeiss is selling, and the first time I used it, it gave me cramps getting the parts apart.

Since it's been properly lubed, it operates flawlessly. I use diamond nano, and it works beautifully.

This is a great set, at a price much lower than I would take for mine.

Same thing with mine. All the threads were dry and wickedly tight. Now that everything has got a good coating of Nyogel them they work fine.

This is a major steal even if someone doesn't have li-ion C cells. Just run the IMR's when they're available and enjoy these fine lights. The FM11 is the best throwing WA1111 I own.
