I am still looking for a driver to power my CREE R2s off two NiMH D's. I bought some DX sku.07882 on recomendation and after reading they can be trimmed to over 1.2A.
Unfortunatly DX either have a new design or a fauty batch. Out of 3 tested 2 only got 340mA and the other 9mA (I think that one is faulty, the modes don't work either). I tested this on the high mode and also by bypassing the modes.
I have four R2s that I want to power, either one driver board each @~600mA or in parallel pairs @~1200mA per pair.
Any suggestions?
