Hello! :naughty:

Today i will introduce to you, my new (modded) falshlights. Not new
at all for me, but now, with much more power!!! :twothumbs

This Mod was done by *Laser". Many thanks again. These lights are
now soooo bright, i was really shocked as i first tried them yesterday,
when it was dark outside!!! :D :D :D

The left one is a Longbow Mini with a eralier PR-Head from McGizmo. :D
The Longbow capsule (heatsink) was opened and a new driver build in,
a BadBoy1000...the Cree MC-E is absolutly perfect centered! :naughty: It
becomes a new reflector, that fits the MC-E ver nice. Only one level
of brightness, but that seems to be enuogh for me, for walking with my
dog...;)
Cant really imagine why, but this Longbow is now at least as much as
bright as my Wolf-Eyes Sniper MC-E. As i said before i had a big smile!!! :D

The right one is a KL4 head on a E1E body...as i like already this floody
beam before the mod, it now becomes a heavy bright wall of light!
I really dont lights that throws much, not useful IMO. So this light is
tight, very small and very very bright. The KL4 has still the stock reflector
and driver with one level of brightness...

Both mods were done very perfect by *Laser*. Very clean work. I
am very impressed...:twothumbs :twothumbs :twothumbs

Some outdoorbeamshots will follow these days for sure! :tinfoil:

The output of the KL4 MC-E and Longbow MC-E raises up threetimes
than before. I was really impressed, when i took the first shots. :D

At most i like the KL4 mod, such a big wall of light!:grin2:

Hope you like the bemshots... :grin2:

That's a Longbow Mini, not a Micra...but it looks pretty awesome, either way. I was just kicking myself earlier for getting rid of my Aleph3 while reading another thread. Now I'm :banghead: for selling the Mini and PR head.
If I'd only known what kind of LEDs were coming down the pike a couple years later...
Looking forward to the beamshots:thumbsup:

Any idea what reflector is in the McGiz PR head? I have a PR head almost identical running a downboy917 and a nice Lux III on top of an old DSpeck UBH (overall it looks a bit like the old stick grenades). I had never thought about putting an MC-E in that light.

This is exactly what I want to do to my old KL4 though. Nice lights!!!:hitit:

Before the Longbow was modded by *Laser*, was it in the Milkylabs

Milky put a cutted 27mm Reflector in it, but the hole was quite to big
for the SSC P4 before. I dont know, what kind of refelctor *Laser*
uses exactly. But perhaps he may help...:grin2:

so a KL4 head (is that from the L4 Digital Lumamax?) will swap right over with no mods to the E1E body? CR123's or can you use RCR123's?

Yes swap it onto a E1E body and still without mor, its a wall of light.

Or you put a MC-E in it...:tinfoil:

Yes you could it also use with Rcr123, max. Voltage is 6Volt!
