Strike bezel for the D10?

I wonder why the EX10 got a stock steel bezel retaining ring, with the option to an aftermarket upgrade to a titanium strike bezel, but the D10 missed out completely?

IMHO, this would make the D10 the perfect AA EDC. It would seem the EX10 is perfect for EDC, but I just can't get over thinking about a time where I will need to buy new batteries and scramble to find CR123's, when I can find tons of AA relatively fast.

The D10 is already a great EDC. Personally I don't want a strike bezel on something I carry in my pants pocket, which is where I carry mine. I can't help thinking a strike bezel would look really odd on a little AA light like the D10. :sssh:

True, but I've seen pictures of it on the smaller EX10 and it looked great. Never know when a strike bezel is your last line of defense to fend of an intruder or mugger, or break the glass of a sinking car...2 things that may never happen, but the sheer idea is enough for me to want one. Guess it's another light for me, EX10 here I come.
