Hey guys I have a quick question about taking pics of beamshots and wallshots. I tried to take some wall shots of my G2 with my new malkoff and my original G2 led module. Well I looked at the pics I took and they looked almost the same. I couldnt really tell any difference in how bright the M60 is, but we all know its way brighter. :twothumbs I was in a room upstairs taking the pics about ten feet from the wall I was shining the light on. Using my Nikon D80 I set it to P mode and used Automatic White balance.
What should I do next time?

You need to use a manual setting, where the exposure is fixed and the same for each light. Using P the camera produces the best exposure automatically, no matter the brightness differences, so they all will look about the same.

Another trick is:
Try different exposure, and pull down the brightness of the hotspot.
So that you can tell the real difference between lights.
