Maglight Upgrade Service?

I have an old 3D Maglight Incan. I see quite a few light fanatics modding them and putting a P7 LED on them putting out 700+ lumens.

I'm not that great with electronics and don't have a multimeter, soldering iron, etc. Is there a service out there that I can send my light to and get back modded.

You can buy a drop-in and do that yourself. I don't consider it a mod because it requires minimal to none modifications for a drop-in to work. The Malkoff P7 drop-in might be what you want, but you'll have to use 4 C cells to get the right voltage.

If you want to do the mod, the only two things you need is the LED, and a heatsink(persuming you already have thermal paste/epoxy, and soldering items). If the LED is of the right voltage bin, you won't need a resistor or driver to keep the current at the right place.
