It has Nitecore D10 guts, so it uses a regular AA. Alk, NiMH, or Lithium

It takes all forms of AA's. Alkaline, NiCad, Li-Ion, Eneloop, etc. Damn, you beat me to it...

That is the coolest thing I have seen in awhile. I like the choice of blue for the trits.
