sold my eagletac t10c, going with 18650 lights.

I just ordered 2 aw 18650's and a charger, i think i am going to buy the new eagletac t100c2, my old eagletac was great, but it went through 2 aw cr123 in about 45 minutes on high. The t100c2 is thought to have flat regulation on high for about 3 hours on an 18650 "nice"

I bought 2 of the eagletac p100a2's to give away, 1 to my fatherinlaw, and one to a buddy. These lights only claim 190 lumens but seemed to be as bright and throw as far as my t10c2. So im thinking i will be pretty happy with the t100, plus i will already have 2 18650's incase i feel that i have to order an m2. this is a sickness. I rarely even use my flashlights, lol.

when reading about the light on eagletac.com, it keeps saying that the light is compatible with "eagletac 18650 batteries". Sounds like eagletac is going to put their name on a battery or something. im still ordering aw's.

18650 Rule!!

There was some big momentum in 18650 lights, but I've noticed that slowing down and multi-voltage circuits coming back in vogue at the expense of 18650 regulation.

Still many are putting together Solarforce or boring tubes to get 18650 based lights. The new EagleTac does look very promising. For the price it could be a really killer of a light.

The ITP C6 does pretty well too. Although not the best, I still love my TK11 and Jet-III-M on 18650. I wish i new if the new TK-11-Q5 have flat regulation like some showed with the R2 model. I'm looking forward to the Raptor and the M2, to add to my 18650 based lights. My heart still pings for the Jet-III-ST if only it had better efficiency.

It looks like you're going to have to wait 3-4 weeks or so, but it will be interesting.

I think I saw some EagleTac branded 18650 cells already somewhere. I think they are already out.

i figured they must be selling some branded batteries, because they say eagletac 18650's about 3 or 4 times . I think this is going to be a killer light at this pricepoint. I might have to buy a shotgun or new ar15 to go with this light,, says its weapons mountable light,, .
