Does anybody know if I can run this regulating board, DX #20329, with a ssc p7 running off of 2 D-cells (3.0v)?
I have no idea if that board can take such a low voltage...will it even light up? Because the P7 is 3.6v where as the battery is lower....If not, then I don't mind adding an extension tubing and adding a third D-cell for a 4.5v input. I want a longggg runtime and don't mind the bulk.
BTW, this is a Brinkman 3W Dimmable, apparently regulated and with battery tester.
Otherwise, I wonder if I can fit it into a Dorcy Metal Gear.
