I was looking for a new battery for my cell phone and stumbled across the Li-Ion 1200mah replacement batteries for my phone. It cost $3.99 with $5.95 shipping.
Has anyone tried these? I wanted to get one because I get around a 1hr talk time and probably 18hr standby time with my used and abused Ni-Mh battery.

Sounds like a similar one to the batteries I got from Newegg, for $7.99 + $5 shipping. I get about 2-1/2 hrs actual talk time, based on the call timer, plus standby time of about 8 days, on my Nokia 1260.
It's definitely an improvement over the stock NiMH; lighter and longer lasting when kept as a spare.
Only drawback may be that it doesn't stick to my magnetic cell phone holder any more, being Li-Ion..

For that price, buy a bunch- and I thought $7.99 was good!

I got a similar batt from bargaincell. In a charger/1200 batt combo deal.
Much better than I expected. I'm getting one for my Lady now.
This was for a i90 motorola. but the cheap batt cost and apprehension was similar.

My 3360 is getting quirky in that I can show 4 battery segments, talk 15 minutes and it goes dead.

I'm on the original NimH that came with it nearly two years ago.

Let me know how the 1200 Li-Ion works would you?

I have an aftermarket Lithium Ion 1250 mah battery for my 3390. The difference in battery life was quite noticeable.

It was on standby for 7+ days when it was new and, my residence is in an area with a weak signal. This testing was performed 18+ months ago. I haven't tested the battery since then but it is still doing quite well.

YMMV depending upon manufacturer, but the 3 that were purchased are still performing quite well.

Its been about 36 hours without recharging, I probably talked on it for 30-45mins total. Its still showing 3 bars of power. Great Upgrade for your 3390 at $10/shipped a battery.

Got mine Saturday (1200mAh Li-Ion). Charged it overnight on a standard plug in charger. Here it is almost 2pm CST Monday... Showing 4 bars. I need to get Lindsey to call me... he is my Battery Killer!!!
