Hello! This is my first post, so while I hope you go easy on me, don't be afraid to tell me if I break any rules.
I came here via a long story (if you aren't interested, feel free to scroll to the bottom bolded portion): I purchased a River Rock 1-AA flashlight about a month ago at Target and really liked it (right size, right amount of light, clip for use on the brim of my hat a huge plus).
I lost it last week on a dock and since have gone to THREE separate Targets trying to find another one. Not a single one had the same flashlight.
After a bit of research here, I realized that the flashlight I had was a rebranded Nuwai X1 (example here - http://www.eliteled.com/products/flashlights/nuwai-x-1.html). One huge difference though - the clip! Without a clip for putting it on a hat, it just wasn't as useful to me.
So to make a long story short - I emailed the customer service link at what appeared to be their website (http://riverrockdesigns.com/) trying to find out if they were going out of business, etc. I had a quick reply in my inbox saying they were on their way but that if I couldn't wait they would be happy to make up a paypal invoice and send me one for 23$ with free shipping.
I'm not a very paranoid person generally but I figured since I'd found out so much here already that I'd ask this as well: Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, buying directly from River Rock?
Sorry if this question has been answered 100 times before; I spent half an hour googling to see if anyone had asked this previously to no avail.
