These aren't getting any use by me and I've bought enough lites lately to make these candidates for new homes.

1) Dark green Sceptre - bought directly from Mac. Unused since purchase, and has been resting quietly in my safe.

Light is setup to draw 150ma on low. Estimated output is approximately 350 lumens with over 4 hours runtime

On high the light draws 650ma for and estimated output of over 1100 lumens and over an hour runtime.

2) Mac Mini Mini HID

Purchased from another CPF member last March, also Unused since purchase, and has been resting quietly in my safe.

The Mac mini-mini Solarc 10w HID runs on 3 x rechargeable R123 cells.
Upgraded LOP reflector and glass lens.
This is a silver one, with smooth body and finned head.
5 1/2 inches overall length!!

I think your prices are very fair, if not really good. I sold my Sceptre a few months ago for $400-ish, and it had been carried (but still in near mint condition). The market stinks! And lights that should have moved are sitting.

Dang, these are STILL here? :thinking: Just out of curiosity, how does the Mini Mini compare with the Sceptre in terms of output? I've had a Sceptre for almost 6 months now, and I love it. I'd grab the Mini Mini in a heartbeat, but I've got other stuff that I need to get (like a new camera :green. Oh well. If it sticks around long enough I may get it. Good luck with the sale!
EDIT: The Mini Mini uses the 3.7V rechargeables, right?

yes, both lights use the r123a's. I've not done a side by side test but it seems to me that they're close. I may have to take some of my r123's out of some other lights to do a test. It seems I never have enough rechargeables on hands due to my flashaholicism!

Okay, the Mini Mini has arrived. Suffice to say, I'm officially an HID disciple :rock:. I can also speak for the Sceptre, which is a fantastic light. Whoever snags this one is getting a hell of a good deal. There are not very many Sceptres out there.
