What would you say the tint is like of a UX1K emitter? I'm not familiar with Luxeon binning.

I had a dream last night where my Inova 3A Bolt was chasing me through the forest and yelling repetitively, "What is wrong with me? Why am I not enticing the sale of griff's 27LT?" Actually that's not true at all, I've never dreamt of talking flashlights. But the Bolt is aching for a new home though and is ready to ship ASAP. Think of it as buying an Inova 3A Bolt for $190 shipped and getting a minty 27LT for free. :naughty:

I'm not a runtime Guy but Don's light run very well! You can do a search if you want........and I'll knock another $7.00 off the price yo buy it soon!

You bought the light from RPM, and there's that photo that shows the reflector. But it's kinds hard to tell how much OP it has.
McGizmo wrote this about early McR-27L reflectors:
"It is intended to capture more of the emitted light and redirect this light into an apparent tighter spot as well as a more concentrated corona. The pre-production samples have agressive orange peel on the surface and the result is a flood beam of realitive bright and concentrated beam angle with a center portion that extends the reach noticibly beyond the McR-20."
Basically, lacking beam shots, I'm trying to find out how much spill this light has.
