I love my M60 Malkoff module (and various permutations of it )

I am looking for a high-power P60 drop in module. Before I submit my specs to Gene, I would like to get an idea of what's possible.

I assume a single-module LED? I want it to run on 3x123 primaries or 2x18500 cells.

Possible to get 200+ lumens?

What's the best wavelength range, I want less visible to the eye and most effective for looking at UV -sensitive things. 370nm maybe?

Not sure if I want a 8 or 20 degree optic.

I'm sure the optic he uses is UV stabilized so it doesn't turn brown and die with the amount of UV that a traditional LED produces but I have no idea if it's been time tested to that amount of power/exposure.

I'm just thinking about the long term results of your proposed Malkoff.
If it works OK it'd be really sweet for scorpion hunting!

Your thread was prompted by gollum's thread, which you even posted in yourself, so it is no better than an unnecessary by-product.

Now you've given a link to another one, so you've rendered this one even more unnecessary. It's closed.
